PraksisNett West

PraksisNett West is part of The Norwegian Primary Care Research Network (PraksisNett).

This is a new infrastructure that facilitates high quality research studies in Norwegian general practice.

Praksisnett is a national initiative from Norwegian general practice research environments. From 2018 until 2022 it was financed as a large infrastructure project through The Research Council of Norway.

From 2023 it has been financed over the national budget establishing it as a permanent infrastructure to support research in primary health care.

The network is nationwide and 90 general practitioners offices participate. It is organized through four regional networks and a coordinating unit at the University of Bergen. AFE Bergen oversees the western regional part of the network.
